I’m Dani Buijtenhek, a seasoned communicator, trainer and presenter, made in Germany (1973) and globally active. After 20 years of in-house communication roles with some of the world’s leading brands across industries and geographies, I’ve transitioned into the consulting field and started my own company in 2015: danibu.

Communications Lead Transformation a. i.

Providing temporary change communication guidance (including strategy, plan and implementation) for Schoeller Allibert’s business transformation, building awareness and support across all staff levels (C-level executives, front-line supervisors, middle managers and plant staff) to align all stakeholders, processes and technology with Schoeller Allibert’s new business strategy.

Senior Internal Communications Expert a.i.

Strengthened the DOMO Chemicals’ Executive Committee, Extended Leadership Team (ELT) and Corporate Communications during time of merger. Built the communication plan for their global strategic program (Improve DOMO) and worked out the tools, creative concepts, events and trainings to infuse it with life, connecting and motivating staff up and down the line.

FedEx Express
EU Integration Communication Coordinator a.i.

Coordinated all EU communication activities around TNT’s integration into FedEx, incl. communication advise for functional and country communicators, and content creation and curation across regional and local internal media. Developed an initiative for TNT EMEA countries to share best marketing campaign practices – and built a regional merchandise program along the way, achieving cost efficiency and increased regional brand awareness.

Communication Business Partner a.i.

Supported the implementation of two corporate trajectories (Agile working and Sustainable Banking), aligning key internal stakeholders from the HR, Regulatory, Legal and Compliance functions. Coordinated a variety of recurrent corporate tactics, such as infographics, executive videos or 60 minutes-townhalls with the CEO across internal editorial teams and external suppliers.

Communication and Brand Consultant

Created an internal communication plan for Nutricia Export Business Unit and set up a more aligned stakeholder communication infrastructure. Advised on a new BU brand identity, including logo concept and actionable metrics (such as launch of an internal online magazine and event calendar).
